How I can help
Sessions take place by video on secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms (Grow Therapy, Rula or Headway). We use the same approaches as in person, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing and solution-focused therapy.
What to expect
All you need is a phone, tablet or computer with internet and a private space. You will receive the session link through the platform where you book.
Frequently asked questions
Is online therapy as effective as in person?
For many people and situations, online therapy works very well. If at some point in-person sessions would be better for you, we will talk about it.
Is it private and secure?
Yes. Sessions take place on platforms that comply with the HIPAA privacy law. I recommend joining from a place where you can talk comfortably.
Can I have sessions if I live outside Texas?
My license is from the state of Texas, so online sessions are for people who are located in Texas at the time of the session.
